As you were informed today we need to close the school and Kindergarten from Monday 2nd March due to Japanese goverment regulations.

Information for parents 21.February 2020
Cover for interns : 3 teachers will be helping in Early Years
Next week 24th-28th February, our interns will attend a seminar which is required by their German organization, so they will be not in school.
There will be 3 substitute teachers helping in Early Years: Ms. Ramya Shyam, Ms. Sachiyo Dewan and Mr. Derek Maeckelburg. They might also attend to the children in the bus. If you see these teachers, please welcome them.

Shoei Kindergarten visit
2nd : Yellow Team and Pre-school are invited from Shoei Kindergarten for Hinamatsuri Festival (Doll Festival). It is a big event. Many different Kindergartens are coming together and perform with songs and dance. For that please let your child wear traditional clothes from your home country.
Sledding Excursion Rokko Snow Park
5th: Please prepare snow outfits, gloves and snow boots for your children. Your child/children can come directly to school wearing the right outfit, or you can bring your child and put on his/her snow outfit at the Kindergarten during drop off time.

Ready, map, go !
The Pre– Kindergarten children have been learning a lot about animals and were looking forward to seeing many different species on their excursion.
In preparation of their trip, they looked at the map of Kobe Animal Kingdom and found many interesting details.
They also discovered some of the featured animals in their toy boxes, put animal families together and then build their own zoo. Great observation skills, Pre– Kindergarten !

Setsubun no Hi 3rd February 2020
On 3rd February at Setsubun no Hi, two onis (devils) came to Kindergarten. The children threw beans at them and the onis ran away. Then instead Fuku (good luck person) came into Kindergarten (we could not see her but we could feel her). After the event we all felt happy and also ate beans at our snack time.
