A very busy week -
including a visit to the Fashion Museum !
The week after the autumn holidays was VERY busy !
It started with a rainy day and a cloud craft activity and was followed by the school’s OPEN DAY with lots of visitors. Then we welcomed a new friend and an old friend back into our class, created collage art, made 2 visits to the library and finally went on our much anticipated trip to the Fashion Museum !
During the whole week the children had plenty of opportunities to work on their fine motor skills - by ripping paper into strips, opening and getting glue sticks ready (a very tricky affair), holding crayons and pencils, using scissors and pasting paper pieces of different shapes.
The children also displayed fantastic social skills by greeting visitors and the PTA assembly politely, welcoming a new child warmly into their circle and showing good and inquisitive behaviour during their visit to the museum.
Last, not least, the children showed that they also have very good observation skills by finding objects displayed on the museum’s pamphlet in the actual exhibition. Well spotted, everyone !
A big thumbs up for the Pre-Kindergarten children for a week not only well mastered, but showing that they are truly a very caring, clever and WONDERFUL class!
